It is truly amazing to see the artistic abilities of these talented children rescued from child labor at the Bal Ashram! These children painted canvases that were put together into a mural and named The Wall of Freedom. They were told to paint what comes to their minds when they think of freedom. The Wall of Freedom is missing one tile for those kids who are still victims of child trafficking and are awaiting freedom. On Christmas Day, the day before they painted the canvases, Kailash Satyarthi dressed as Santa Claus and visited the children to celebrate Christmas and distributed treats for all the kids!

Some of these kids were kidnapped while others were sold and forced to work in unsafe working conditions where many of them were hurt. Despite being so busy, Mr. Satyarthi made time to meet these young changemakers. Thank you Mr. Satyarthi for the difference you are making in this world!
